MARK CUBAN
Mark Cuban is an American businessman, investor, author, television personality, and philanthropist. He is the owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, co-owner of 2929 Entertainment and chairman of the AXS TV. He is also one of the main "shark" investors on the ABC reality television series, Shark Tank. As of July 2017, he has invested in 85 deals across 111 Shark Tank episodes.
In 2011, Cuban wrote an e-book, How to Win at the Sport of Business, in which he chronicles his life experiences in business and sports. Under Mark Cuban Companies umbrella he has a support staff that assists companies in his investment umbrella with marketing, finance and operations. He was the original creator of the Three Commas brand. Written into the script of the hit series Silicon Valley, the brand has expanded into several countries.
MICHAEL CHAFFIN
Since 2004, Michael has served as Business Manager for the multi-platinum hip-hop artist Nelly. Through restructuring Nelly’s apparel line Apple Bottoms from from a production firm to a licensing entity, Michael was able to grow the business from $2M in revenue in 2004 to over $100M in 2008. In early 2015 partnered with Mark Cuban to launch the Three Commas apparel line, a concept derived by Mark Cuban based on the fact that there are three commas in a billion dollars. Michael is active in the startup community serving as a judge and mentor for Stadia Ventures sports accelerator.
He has served on the Governing Board of Make-A-Wish Missouri which he is now an alumni of and has also formerly served on the Board of Directors for Covenant House, an international charity that focuses on homeless teenagers.
