Meet the Dream Team

Dive deeper into the minds of the trailblazers who made Three Commas a reality.

Launched in early 2015 by Mark Cuban, Nelly, and Mike Chaffin, Three Commas was the first apparel line dedicated to those who dare to dream big. It’s more than clothing—it’s a badge of honor for the aspirational, the innovators, and the steadfast believers in hard work.

Together, they craft not just apparel, but armor for those on the journey to making their entrepreneurial dreams come true.

Three Commas isn't just about wealth; it's about the journey of ambition, from the inception of a dream to its achievement.

We embody the essence of the American Dream, a testament to the fact that everyone has the opportunity to succeed through resilience, hard work, and dedication.

At Three Commas, we believe success isn't measured by dollars but by the daily commitment to your passions and the relentless pursuit of your goals.

Three Commas began as a spark of inspiration on Mark Cuban’s blog—a label underpinning powerful quotations that resonated deeply with entrepreneurs worldwide.

What started as a symbol from a simple yet profound observation—that there are three commas in a billion—has transformed into much more than a brand; it’s a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit.

Mark Cuban

is an American billionaire entrepreneur, television personality, and media proprietor. He is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team and the co-owner of 2929 Entertainment. He is also one of the main "shark" investors on the ABC reality television series Shark Tank.

Since the age of 12, Mark has been a natural businessman. Selling garbage bags door to door, the seed was planted early on for what would eventually become long-term success.

Cuban became a billionaire back in 1998. That’s when he and Todd Wagner took their online audio streaming company, Broadcast.com, public. He remembers the exact moment he became a billionaire.

“And so I am sitting there naked one morning. Naked. Bam, bam, bam, refresh, refresh,” says Cuban. He was repeatedly hitting “return” on the keyboard to update the website where he was watching the stock.

″The price gets up there — and then I did my little naked billionaire dance. I was so much more handsome that next day. No lie,” jokes Cuban.

Nelly

or Cornell Iral Haynes Jr. was born November 2, 1974. He is an American rapper, singer, and entrepreneur.

Nelly began his music career with Midwest hip hop group St. Lunatics in 1993 and signed to Universal Records in 1999. Under Universal, Nelly began his solo career in the year 2000, with his debut album Country Grammar, of which the featured title track and the single "Ride wit Me" were top ten hits. The album peaked at number one the Billboard 200, and became Nelly's best-selling album to date, selling over 8.4 million copies in the United States.

Nelly has won multiple accolades throughout his career including three Grammy Awards and nine Billboard Music Awards. He has two other clothing lines, Vokal and Apple Bottoms.

Nelly is ranked as the fourth-best-selling rap artist in American music history, according to the RIAA, with 21 million albums sold in the United States.

In December 2009, Billboard ranked Nelly the number three Top Artist of the Decade (2000s).

Mike Chaffin

co-founded Three Commas Apparel with Mark Cuban in 2014.

Mike has been business manager and partner with Grammy winning hip hop artist Nelly for over 18 years across numerous ventures including Apple Bottoms Jeans, MoShine Moonshine brand, energy drinks, real estate and restaurants.

Mike has also served for the past 6 years as a judge and mentor to the sports accelerator Stadia Ventures.
